Stunning gown designs this year have included a smashing gold Rococo sack-back gown for a highwayman wedding in Leicestershire! Also a beautiful queen of the night creation in blue/black silk and silver satin, sprinkled with Swarovski stars…and a tiara has made it's way to a wedding beneath the northern lights at the Ice Palace. Finally, I've continued to work with the team at Promotional Props and Costumes, our most recent creation: a 12 foot high puppet for musician MIKA's tour. I'm hoping to do plenty more film and theatre in the forthcoming year.

Burlesque performers, bridal designers, fashion students and home dress makers, even best selling author Katie Fforde joined us for a corset workshop. Katie brushed up on authentic info and dressmaking details for her new novel, inspired by the wedding dress industry, to be published in June 08.
